I mean, it wasn't about his wife. Trump probably didn't even know she died. Besides, he was making fun of Biden in that quote, not Carter, and certainly not Carter's wife.

He's making fun of both of them. Basically saying that Carter was shit but he looks great compared to biden.
Okay. I don't see what's wrong with that. I find it hard to believe trump targeted him because of his wife's condition, and I don't see why having a sick wife should make you not valid for your regularly scheduled trump insults.
