This is two in a row though. Vista was junk, then 7 was OK. 10 should have been a low point according to the pattern, and it was. Windows 10 as a few benefits compared to 7, but overall it's worse. It's slower and uses more memory, search doesn't work right, the settings are infuriatingly disorganized, and it's filled with telemetry that you need to disable to make the interface stop lagging, even on high-end computers.
I was hoping 11 would be an upswing, but instead it has doubled down on the problems with 10.
