As more Canadians are faced with the evolving nature of gender identity, gaps in the ways different groups view the subject are growing, according to a recent survey by the Angus Reid Institute.
I don't understand the transgender community. They freak out when we don't call them their own titles they identify yet they want to be included into genders they don't belong to.
Make up your fucking mind.
I don't care what you do but be consistent with your bullshit.
You want to be transgendered, fine but then you can stay out of the opposite sexes events as it is not fair for these people now.
No but they freak out when they're not included in a M/F only events. They want their own titles then cry when they aren't included in something they want to be seperate from.
I'm bad at explaining my thoughts
I'm not transphobic, I really don't care what anyone does in their personal lives. I'm just tired of the stupid BS.
Y'all are just making shit fucking stupid. I don't have then mental capacity to care, yet alone learn the crap
A transwoman is a woman. A transman is a man. Just like a black man is a man. They're contained within the venn diagram, not separate from. Of course they're going to be upset that they're not welcome at events hosted for their own genders. Just like a black man would be rightfully upset at being denied from a men's only event on the basis of his race, a transwoman is going to be rightfully upset at being denied access to a woman's only event on the basis of her trans status.
It's not a complicated concept, if you don't understand it is only because you don't want to.
Also you started with "they freak out when you call them by the thing they ask to be called" and moved to "they freak out when we try to ban them from their own genders events" that's some massive goalpost moving for just one reply.
A transwoman is a (trans)woman. A transman is a (trans)man. Just like a black man is a man
FIFY
Stop pretending to be something you're not. You're trans, and that is ok.
In the end we're all Humans on this planet (except robot/lizards like that Facebook fuckhead)
This is the exact pedantic "definitions" based rhetoric people used when they tried to say a marriage is between a man and a woman. When gays live together for love and tax breaks it's a "civil union".
You don't understand the trans community because it sounds like most of your experience with the trans community has been filtered through far right ideas and talking points.
If you truly want to understand, talk to someone who is trans. Abandon the bad faith questions, and ask honest questions with an open mind. And don't assume the worst about someone you don't understand.
Edit: and if you're just being hateful, stop faking ignorance as it doesn't absolve you of spreading hate.
For one I'm anti-theist, may you be touched by thy noodley appendage.
I have no issues with any of the LGBT (and so on, and on and on) community, I just don't care
The fact that they want their own identies and also identify with M/F when it's convient for them to do so (athletes) is fucking annoying. Also if they look Male/Female, I'm not gonna go hey mix just to appease these people, I go, sir or mam. If you want to use this language amongst your group of friends fine. But don't freak out on random strangers to make your own segregation feel inclusive. It's fucking idiotic.
