With the potential compromise of a very popular lemmy instance, are there any plans for two-factor authentication options for lemmy server admins/owners?

Yeah that’s my bad, I (and legitimately, not to be a smart ass or dick about it) immediately assumed that 2FA wasn’t an option because of this event.
Just be careful with it. It doesn't confirm that your code is correct before enabling it, and the way it gets set up doesn't work on a number of different authenticators (such as Authy).
Best way to do it is to enable it in settings add it to your app, and then while the settings screen is still open, open an incognito tab and try to log in.
I just enabled 2FA but never got the link to install it. Now if I try to login it asks for a 2FA that I don't have. I already disabled it in the settings but it still asks for it. If I log out of my current instance I think I will be locked out.
Is there any way to turn it off or force a code?
