One of my favorite pieces of advice from this video regarding ADHD productivity is to "embrace the pivot" (15 minutes in but I recommend watching the whole thing). Every positive change you make is going to have a shelf life, and instead of trying to go against the grain it is easier to recognize when it's no longer working and pivot to something else.
If I pivot into something, that's one thing. I just write that off and say "I guess that's how I'm doing this now". I'm on version like 4.0 of my daily planner.
But it fucking blows when you just pivot into oblivion and stop doing the thing. I'm on planner version 4.0, but that update was installed after an 8 month planner hiatus from planner 3.8.
