You are lying. India's farmers had been peacefully protesting the pro-corporate farm laws that Modi rammed through Parliament since they left their homes to meet the PM in Delhi. On their way, they were subject to state violence in Haryana by Haryana state govt & central forces, then they were prevented from entering Delhi by Delhi police and central paramilitary forces who barricaded the roads, created concrete barriers, and planted iron spikes on the roads. India's farmers rather than react violently sat down on the public roads that they were stopped on. They braved rain, floods, winter, Delhi's fiery summer all without any violence on their part. Violence was inflicted on them throughout by the Modi govt and BJP's goons & they were lied about constantly by Godimedia.
670 of India's farmers died on the streets outside Delhi waiting for PM Modi to atleast meet them. Modi's response to the deaths was 'Did they die for me?'Please don’t lie, Indian Muslims neither force Hindus to praise Allah nor do they lynch Hindus.

As an Indian, this issue is far more complex than you make it out to be. I never voted for BJP but yeah, they are not fascists, but the potential is there. RSS is basically like the military wing of BJP, more accurately, BJP is the political wing of RSS.
We Indians have seen oppression under the left and the right, so we don't usually use these labels so loosely.

True, but things change. Things are complicated and if I go on and explain why BJP has gained so much power in India people here will not like me. One of the reasons, if not the biggest reason is religious. The INC was secular only in the way that they were willing to change customs which were backwards in Hindu religion. But muslims got a free chit. They were allowed to freely exercise their religion more than the Hindus. This lead to a feeling of resentment which lead to the rise of the BJP and I don't blame the people for it. I hate INC for not being able to be truly secular. Just like in the west you dare not criticize Islam without being called racist and islamophobic, that pseudosecularism presents itself in India as well. It's the hypocrisy that people hate. If the INC were to take an even handed approach and be truly secular and you know make sure that even the idiotic aspects of Islam and other minority religions were challenged as well, BJP would have never gained power in India.
Triple Talaq, not a great islamic tradition was repealed by BJP not congress, they opposed it.
When people call Indian BJP leaders fascistic for doing this, they are missing the bigger picture. They smear Indians without understanding our history and where we are coming from. They hate Indians for voting for BJP but they forget why Indians did that.
The fact that BJP has gained so much power in India speaks to the inability, incompetence and impotence of the INC (Indian National Congress) rather than due to the competence of the BJP. I personally prefer AAP (Delhi party made by Kejriwal)

There's a reason Deng Xiaoping wrote what he did on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics: the Soviet model of socialism wasn't as effective as it needed to be for developing countries.
