As someone living in east Asia, there are definitely a number and it seems to be increasing. Then again, "Asia" is like a huge chunk of the world encompassing more than two billion people.

Misconception that heating a specific area makes the fat there disappear. Also Asian ladies walk more than western girls, and wear heels while doing it. Their feet hurt. Heat nice. Winter cold. Etc.
