It can be easy to get discouraged, but...
Now it's only a matter of getting there x3
You’re already closer than you were when you started :))
Maybe by a hair hehe x3
Hair? Biotin helps with hair - like, massively
I clicked on this post with the intention of saying that exact thing, lol. You'll get there. I know it's not much, but I'm cheering for you guys.
Real :3.. tbf makeup gets me most of the way to where I want, most of gender dysphoria for me these days is either from not shaving, or from documents x3
I can't speak on the body dysphoria, but after helping my partner and my sister change their name, that is fucking pain (the paper work). It all falls on you. The law that says you need to make a news posting is super esoteric and invasive. Every single person questions you like you committed a crime. You got this. I know ID's are getting really bad right now. My sister had her gender changed half a decade ago, but they won't issue her a passport now. I hope you're NOT dealing with the same. Have you found a workaround for the 2 witnesses thing? My sister needed to bring me to the DMV along with my Mom to get her ID, and she's an adult. Did that happen to you?
Also, I'm a very sloppy writer. I apologize if I omitted some words on accident.
Edit: I take it back. I have body dysphoria, but I miss my old hairline.
I assume that's all stuff you need in the US? I've not had any experience with that.. my biggest issue is that there's not a non-binary identity in my country I could even get x3.. after that I'd have to get diagnosed with dysphoria to be allowed to change it, but that seems less daunting than getting to a point where im even able to
Yeah, US. Also, good point!
There's a huge push for news posting in the UK as well, it turns out a lot of the guidance for legal name changing is completely false and kind of predatory. You don't have to pay for officiation, you don't have to publicly announce any private details, in fact only a select few organisations in the UK are allowed to access the link between your name and deadname, same with gender markers. But most sites want you to pay, including gov.uk, and there is a lot of false advice.
