What went wrong: the dnc. Running first biden, then harris. The two representative of a historically disliked administration. Not strictly their (harris/bidens) fault minus a few critical bits.
- you cant run a left wing campaign by swinging to the right
- you cant run a left wing campaign with no policies for the working class. No taxes on tips? Wtf is that? We already dont pay taxes on tips. 50k to start your own business? how many Americans do that? Fucking seriously? How about: minimum pto, minimum sick leave? Health care reform. How about taking fucking companies and china to task? She wouldnt even commit to keeping khan.

- you cant run a campaign on abortion alone. Im sorry ladies, I fully support you in this but many others including women dont. when many states already protect you its not a deciding factor for harris. Congressional positions yes. But not presidential.
Harris expected people to fall in line with no incentives, because..... Trump. And went out of her way to disenfranchise a minority group. Shrug hopefully the counting continues and Harris' manages to surprise us.

Harris' campaign didnt offer them anything worth voting for. And many states already have portections on the books for abortion and those that dont have ballot measures that are likely going to pass. Oops!
Democrats wouldn't even hear a simple call to have Harris stop mass murdering and you thought people would show up for her because of issues that dont impact them? A call that would have likely handed them at least Wisconsin.

If you look at Harris platform everything is pro corporate policy and none of it is for working Americans then add in bleeding arab support etc. oi. It adds up to a death from 1000 cuts.

The amount of damage from denying climate change is not even comparable to any bad policy that could be mention about Harris. There is literally no more snow on Mt.Fuji ! Better to have someone that may fix something here and there than someone that will actively destroy it.

You were never going to convince people to show up for her just because trump bad. Just because you made that decision doesnt mean other people will.
But her behavior along with many supporting her telling people they're russian bots, to sit down and shut up, vote for lesser evil, etc. lets them tune out and just focus on things that bring them joy.... Funny that. To bad harris failed to do that.
That's really where we disagree and the crux on why so many people didn't show up.
People thought the same in 2016, f the DNC and just let w/e happen. we see the result of that indifference.
I get others may have washed their hands of it and feel "it's not my problem that someone else let a drunk person drive" but Doing nothing when you had a choice to stop it is the same as letting it happen. It's not 2016, people cant pretend everything out his mouth is BS anymore.
It turns out the talking point of "voting 3rd party is a vote for Trump" that has been repeated for months does have the desired effect of disenfranchisement, the assumption that they would then vote Democrat is something I never understood.
Turns out 15 million people didn't even vote third party. Just stayed home.
All that back and forth was just to keep the GOP out of power and not have a so called dictator day 1. Not sure how that specifically disenfranchised potential dem voters. Cause they weren't going to vote dem anyways. I could list other stuff that certainly could have.
And to add, they could have voted and just not picked a president.
