I mean I downvoted. I'm familiar with concerns about things such as laptops and internet routers from China coming with back doors that compromise their security. It seems like this meme is suggesting that all this time, that instead of security it was about the devices literally exploding. Which I don't remember ever being a prevalent concern.
Also it's bizarre to take that and then to take the pager explosions and to put them into a juxtaposition because I'm not sure being concerned about hardware back doors on laptops logically tied anyone to the idea "and therefore Israel will not make pagers explode."
It's just one of those things that seems like an intellectually lazy cheap shot that doesn't get any of its own premises right. 🤷♂️
