Do you use a case with your handheld emulators or do you raw dog them?

For devices with joysticks I typically use a case because I feel like they are going to get snagged or damaged but I've stopped using them for devices like the GXD Pixel and the RG35XXSP and I find I'm using them more often and getting my moneys worth of out of these devices.

I've also never been a big fan of those belt clips or holsters.

  • Mostly raw. I don’t carry them around that much though

    • What handheld do you bring with you when you do travel with one?

      • R36S (caseless) and a Steam Deck (in a TomToc case) on the last time!

        • Have you had any issues with the sticks getting caught on things with your R36S?

          • No, I didn’t. They’re pretty flush with the device and I don’t carry a lot of things they could get caught on in the same bag or pocket.

            • Nice! Wasn't sure if you would need something similar to the low-profile 3D printed sticks people were making for the RG350 to prevent it from catching on little lips of pockets.
