1 0 ReplySorry i was /s, the entire imperial system is now defined through the metric system standards. For example, 1in is defined as EXACTLY 2.54cm. Fahrenheit is defined as EXACTLY 5/9(x +459.67) [K] or 5/9(x-32) [C].
