I assume that’s printed because there may be cases where nuts may get mixed in with the peanuts, which are a legume, and not actually a nut. Also, corporations sometimes have to say weird shit so as not to get sued.
That’s just marketing for idiots. You just laughed and bought it anyway, but a startling percentage of people probably bought it because it said that nonsense on the label.
So it's a thickener then? Sticky is like a melted marshmallow, molasses, or asphalt sealer.
I use solid shampoo in general, but when I previously used liquid it always lathered right up and did its thing. Never noticed anything sticky about it.
People can be deathly allergic to peanuts, legume or not, and that tends to coincide with allergies to nuts.
There are regulations that say foods that may have nuts must be labelled that way because of that.
There's no reason for the regulations to add clauses like "unless the name of the product has 'nut' in it" because it's just simpler for everyone to be consistent and put the same label on everything, no matter how "obvious" people who won't have to go to the hospital if they eat the wrong thing think the name is.
