To all the "Harris and Trump are the same crowd, stop being so cowardly and try to say that shit here and now. Or don't, and confirm that this whole time you were being wilfully ignorant because you enjoy purity politics nonsense.
I'd like to have a serious discussion with a "leftist" who is unwilling to sully themselves with a Harris vote.
It know it's not possible because their politics are fed by their emotions but I'd love to know what they think Americans can accomplish in 2-3 months that will help keep trump out of office.
Fine, maybe they accept that there is nothing that can be done. Then I'd ask, how can you delude yourself into thinking a trump presidency will be no big deal? The answers gotta be they want to destabilize the government. If that's true, I can't see how they reconcile the human toll that comes with it.
I don't want to see their lives turn to shit with everyone else's but if they really think trump is the same grade of shit as the democrats it's going to be a rude awakening. They are walking themselves off a ledge and I'm so pissed about it.
It's true, humans have the ability to overcome great obstacles. The formula for that type of change has never been determined. Our influence must be measured and maybe they have. Maybe the calculus adds up. Except, I've gotten no indication they they are even willing to rationalize what they are asking for.
In 2016 we got maga's. How cruel would it be if the political pendulum doesn't swing and away toward justice and injustice but rather; order and disorder. Isolated power to opposing isolated power.
If I were Kamala I'd disavow Isreal today. If I were biden I'd send Isreal 20 billion dollars worth of dog shit. Despite all that I can only take the small actions available to me that will set the course of what I want to see done. I don't want to live in an America without democracy. So the choice is plain. Fascism is here? Of course it is, no one has stood up to it yet. By no one, I mean my neighbors. My brothers and sisters. My community. My local government. The federal government.
Sure we have dissenters but they cannot even stand on the high principles they have stood up.

No, this is it exactly.
In some of their comment history and they are praising China and other authoritarian countries. They don't care that it is state capitalism producing billionaires, just everything about the US is bad so anything anti-US is good. They want the US to collapse so China can expand influence. They don't care about the human toll or will excuse it as means justified by the end.
Usually if they have that comment history you can get them to flip out just by stating their agenda. They do a long-ass theorypost in response. Also asking why Uyghur genocide is excusable will make them angry.
The ones who are not foreign to the US or extremely privileged children who believe they will be on a college campus in perpetuity, sheltered from Donald by mommy and daddy's money.
Where I'm going with that is you can't trade one human suffering for another. Especially with the moral absolution they espose. They live in a world where any time you want something done you go and hit the easy button. You want to stop the Genocide in Gaza; go hit the easy button or else the blood is on your hands.
We get it. You are just shining a light on the darkness. To belabor the metaphor; a monument to fascism is be erected in your back yard and if we don't stop it now it's going to cast a shadow on the entire united states. Their answer to this? "Bring on the night." Which makes it real rich when they say their shining a light.
So what’s Kamala’s strong stance on this genocide then?
Seems to me she doesn’t want to ruffle the feathers of AIPAC and the like. That’s not very inspiring. Hell, innocent people are dying in Gaza every day and she tells protestors “I’M TALKING”.
She is part of the problem. And so are you. ☺️
AND WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT: The journalist who reported that story said it wasn’t real and apologized.
OOOPS! Sorry Mr. Liberal capitalist war hungry monster.😚
So what’s Kamala’s strong stance on this genocide then?
Given the fact that Trump has told Netanyahu not to come to a ceasefire agreement with Harris... what do you think her stance on genocide is then? This isn't rocket science-- Trump clearly knows a ceasefire agreement that involves Harris and Netanyahu is on the table.

Is she POTUS yet? Can she tell Israel with any authority to do anything beyond her capacity as VP? Can you see why it would be absurdly presumptuous of her to do presidential things before she's even been elected?
She is part of the problem. And so are you. ☺️
Again, why do you think Trump called Netanyahu and told him not to agree to a ceasefire with Dems?
Not sure why people are downvoting you. I searched your claim and am surprised to see that yes you are right-- Judy Woodruff apologized for her statement last night and essentially retracted it. When you're right, you're right.
For anyone doubting, search it up yourself. I'm on my garbage phone and it takes too long to link stuff nicely on here.
So, I've tried searching it up myself. All I've been able to find is one article saying that one journalist, who was reporting from the DNC, had reported the story on live broadcast. She later stated that it wasn't her reporting, but something she had seen reported elsewhere. There's also, in that single article, a line about both Trump and Netanyahu denying that the phone call happened at all.
Trump at least isn't the most reliable source, and I have doubts about Netanyahu always being truthful to media, western or otherwise.
That said, I'd definitely be willing to believe it isn't true. I'd just like to see more than one article on the retraction.
Look up Woodruff's Twitter account, her statement is on there. The conversation may very well have happened but Woodruff admits there's no reliable source.
The fact is she either wins the election or it won't matter what she thinks. The administration cannot take a anti-Netanyahu/pro-Palestinian position right now without losing Jewish support, both voters and donors. I suspect post-election we'll see Biden & Kamala suddenly become much more vocal against what Israel is doing.
