Epee is the better weapon.
There aren't any pesky right of way rules to protect you. It's solely between the fencers. If you hit, you get a point. It's so beautiful in its simplicity. This also makes it more accessible for non-fencers to understand what is going on.
Also, you don't have to deal with pesky things like lames and ensuring there aren't dead spots. Who wants to wear even more layers when you're already a sweaty mess just wearing the normal protective gear.
So, c/fencing, I challenge you to change my view. Why are foil/saber better than epee?

This seems to be one of the biggest instances. .ml is running pretty slow, but this one seems to be coping with the load.

For me: I'm an E rated epee fencer in the US. I have a total of 7.5 years of experience, though the first 2.5 years were about a decade before my current 5 years of experience so I'm not sure how much they count.
